Loving Husbands
Intro
In context, Paul has been teaching about how God’s grace has turned us into a new man, the old man has been set aside and we have put on Christ. But the point he is now making is that saving grace in the heart transforms all of our domestic relationships so that the new man also creates a new home.

The model is Christ’s love for His people. Both husband and wife are to imitate Christ.
