A. GOD’S REVELATION IN CREATION (Psalm 19:1-6).

For the choir director.

1. The message of the heavens (Psalm 19:1).

a. “God” = El

b. Heavens are telling the glory of God.

c. Expanse is declaring the work of His hands.

2. The message of the day and night (Psalm 19:2).

a. “day to day pours forth speech” -

b. “night to night reveals knowledge” –

3. The message is silent (Psalm 19:3).

4. The universality of their message (Psalm 19:4ab).

5. The course of the sun (Psalm 19:4c-6).

a. God set a tent for the sun in the heavens (Psalm 19:4c).

b. Sun as a bridegroom (Psalm 19:5a)

c. Sun as a runner (Psalm 19:5b-6b).

d. Nothing hidden from its heat (Psalm 19:6c).
